Performance of Turn-Based Tactics Games in the UK, Q3 2024

In the third quarter of 2024, the top turn-based tactics games on the unified platform in the United Kingdom showcased varied performances in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Bowmasters - Multiplayer Game from Playgendary Limited demonstrated a stable revenue stream, peaking at approximately $4K in late August. Weekly downloads were highest mid-July at around 15K but declined to about 11K by the end of September. Active users mirrored this pattern, starting strong at 180K in mid-July and ending at roughly 140K.

Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus ™ by Snowprint Studios AB saw a significant increase in revenue, reaching its peak at about $139K in early September. Downloads surged from roughly 2K in early July to over 8K in mid-September. Active users increased steadily, peaking at over 22K in mid-September before slightly declining.

Tank Stars from AI Games FZ had a relatively low revenue, with a notable rise to approximately $1K at the end of September. Downloads fluctuated, starting at about 4K in early July and settling at around 2.6K by the end of the quarter. Active users saw a gradual decline from 23K to 18K.

Archery Bastions: Castle War, also from AI Games FZ, maintained low revenue figures, peaking at $392 towards the end of September. Downloads varied throughout the quarter, with a high of 3.4K in mid-August and a low of 1.6K in early July. Active users showed a slight upward trend, ending the quarter at approximately 24K.

Sword of Convallaria by XD Entertainment Pte Ltd, which launched at the end of July, showed an initial revenue spike of $19K in early August, followed by a decline to around $3K by the end of September. Downloads started high at nearly 10K in its launch week but dropped significantly to under 600. Active users began at over 4K, dropping to 2.3K by the end of the quarter.
